Indeed's Publisher API is closed. Here is what you can use instead.
Indeed's self-serve signup is gone; Job Opportunities API's free key still works today.
This is not a claim about Indeed's own inventory — Job Opportunities API (JOA) does not have it, and does not claim to. It is about what happened to the self-serve door: a developer who used to be able to register for Indeed's Publisher API at developer.indeed.com cannot do that anymore.
You need Indeed's own listing inventory — Indeed's specific sourcing, Indeed's specific employer relationships. No third party, including us, can substitute for that; you need Indeed's partner-sales process, whatever it now requires.
You want a self-serve door that is still open today. Job Opportunities API is a different, employer-direct ledger (career pages, ATS platforms and public employment services), not a mirror of Indeed's own index — register a free key in about a minute, no call required.
