Position Overview Flagship is seeking an experienced   Senior IT Project Leader to drive strategic technology initiatives across the enterprise. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who thrives in ambiguity, builds strong cross-functional partnerships, and enjoys turning complex ideas into successful outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Performance, the Project Leader will partner with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to deliver initiatives aligned with Flagship's strategy. Projects may span enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, scientific systems, and other strategic IT capabilities. Rather than simply managing timelines, the Project Leader serves as the connective tissue between business strategy and technology execution, bringing people together, aligning priorities, removing obstacles, and ensuring successful delivery. What You'll Do Lead Strategic Technology Initiatives Lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from planning through implementation and operational transition. Partner with business and IT leaders to define project objectives, scope, success measures, and delivery strategies. Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, and governance activities. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational priorities. Drive Cross-Functional Leadership Build trusted partnerships with business leaders, technical teams, and executive stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration across multiple departments, vendors, and external partners. Lead steering committee meetings, executive updates, and project governance forums. Create alignment among diverse stakeholders while driving timely decision-making. Manage Complexity and Risk Anticipate and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes. Resolve delivery challenges by balancing business priorities, technical constraints, and organizational impacts. Ensure project decisions are made by data, risk assessments, and strategic objectives. Drive organizational readiness, communications, and change management activities to support successful adoption.
