Description
Description This position is responsible for all duties related to youth activities and sports at the club included but not limited to set-up, event implementation and clean up. Supervising our younger members in a safe nurturing way is essential to job function. Essential Job Functions: • Assist with set-up and decoration of all events • Greets members and guests in a professional friendly way • Ensure knowledge of all safety and first aid protocol procedures • Ensures knowledge of company policies and procedures as it refers to Nona Crew department • Supervises children when in our care and adheres to all rules regarding our younger members • Assists parents when signing their children in and out, including checking identification when necessary • Handles proper care of all materials for events and stores them after • Ensures knowledge of all children, allergies, special needs, and staff during events while in our care • Communicates with and informs immediate supervisors of any unforeseen circumstances and reacts appropriately • Moves furniture when necessary ie: Kid tables and chairs • Maintains confidentiality as it relates to our member’s family information • Perform routine safety checks of areas for events before we begin • Attends all department staff meetings and trainings • Sign for vendor deliveries on an as needed basis • Perform routine office tasks copying, calculating, etc. • Engages each child during activity time • Assist with dinner service as it relates to our events: Kid buffet • Assist with all other duties as needed or directed by senior management Requirements Essential Qualifications: • High School education or equivalent required • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Must be willing to get CPR certified early into employment • Knowledge of office equipment • A friendly outgoing demeanor is a plus • Childcare experience is a plus • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Essential Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods of time • Must be able to work outdoors as needed • Must be able to work in hot and muggy conditions on continuous basis • Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an “at will” relationship.
