We are looking for 12 young actors from Nottingham, Mansfield and Nottinghamshire who reflect the rich diversity of our area to join the Young Community Cast and play the role of the Jury.
Each young actor will have their own individual character and dialogue and will perform alongside three professional adult actors in the play.
To apply, you must be aged between 12 and 22 years old as of 9 March 2024, and be available for rehearsals and performances as follows. There will be a period of part-time rehearsals (1 per week), followed by 2 weeks of full-time rehearsals, then a week of technical rehearsals and performances (full dates below).
You don’t need any prior acting experience – just energy, enthusiasm and commitment.
We are holding Casting Workshop on Saturday 9 March 2024 (Mansfield Palace Theatre) and Saturday 23 March 2024 (Nottingham Playhouse) to select the 12 young actors.
