About the role:
justteachers is working with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Boston that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September for the full academic year.
This exciting opportunity would suit a passionate primary teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Year 5 class, including planning, preparation, assessment and reporting, while fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment that enables all pupils to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Take full responsibility for the progress, attainment and wellbeing of pupils within the Year 5 class.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and pupil achievement.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leaders to support the wider school community.
Pre-requisites:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and engage learners.
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service, or willingness to obtain one as part of the pre-employment checks.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to provide satisfactory professional references
