About the role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Spalding. The school is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally. This role will involve taking responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 1. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure all pupils receive an excellent educational experience. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026 and continuing until Christmas 2026. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting learning where required • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents • Uphold school behaviour, safeguarding, and child protection policies Pre-requisites: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 • Right to work in the UK and references covering the last 2 years • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children If you are a passionate and committed teacher looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you—please apply today through justteachers.
