Vision for Education are looking to employ a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) to work in a Year 1 class at a First School in Gosforth.
About the role
This role is set to commence ASAP until the end of the academic year and the working hours for this role are 08:30-15:30, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting within the classroom and specific experience of supporting children with SEND would be extremely beneficial. The Teaching Assistant will be working 1:1 with a pupil in Year 1 who has ASD. The school would like to employ a candidate who is outgoing, supportive, and patient to offer outstanding care.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Year 1 SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) you will:
• • Hold a minimum of Level 2 Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• • Preferably have experience of supporting pupils with SEND.
• • Have excellent behaviour management and set high expectations.

Salary
£69 to £75 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
• Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
