Description
Our client, a family run metal recycling business based in the heart of Sheffield, are looking to employ a yard labourer to grow and strengthen their team.
You will be working mainly outside and your duties willi include:
• Sorting and moving scrap around the yard
• General labouring and hosue keeping
• Loading and unloading lorries
• Operating FLT
We are looking for candidates who:
• Are happy to work outside and get ‘stuck in’
• Have previously worked in a scrap metal environment
• Have FLT Counterbalance Licence
• Ideally have worked with ferrous or non-ferrous metals in the past – this will increase your wage
Benefits of the role include:
• Working days 7:30am to 4:30pm
• Pay starting at £10.50 an hour
• Temporary to Permanent position
