Description
Avelios is a healthcare software company building a modular platform that digitizes hospital workflows. This Working Student DevOps Engineer role supports the infrastructure team in deploying and operating software across cloud and clinical environments, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.
What You'll Do
• Collaborate with core development team to roll out new features and services
• Support design, testing, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure powering Avelios in hospitals and cloud
• Operate and improve large-scale deployments with high availability and performance requirements
• Apply best practices in observability, incident response, and fault tolerance
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and scalable in clinical environments
What You Need
• Currently enrolled in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field
• First experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging best practices
• Solution-oriented mindset and pragmatic, hands-on working style
• Fluency in English
Nice to Have
• First experience with modern toolchains and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)
• German language skills
• Strong interest in learning new technologies and working in fast-paced, high-impact settings
