Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Wood CNC Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for the complete setup, operation, and basic maintenance of CNC woodworking equipment used in the manufacturing of furniture components. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities - Set up, operate, and monitor CNC woodworking machines to produce furniture components to specification. - Load, unload, and secure wood materials and components. - Perform accurate measurements and quality inspections throughout the production process. - Read and interpret drawings, work orders, and production specifications. - Troubleshoot basic machine issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning. - Handle bending, twisting, and lifting tasks throughout the shift (up to 50 lbs). - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. - Work efficiently to meet daily production targets in a fast-paced environment. - Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and product quality. Qualifications - Previous experience operating CNC woodworking machines. - Ability to lift, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. - Basic math and measuring skills (calipers, tape measure, gauges). - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. - Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. - Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Working Conditions - Fast-paced production environment. - Regular lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. - Exposure to wood dust, noise, and moving machinery (PPE provided). - Full-time position on a standard production shift.
