Williamson County Schools School Age Child Care (SACC) is looking for a Team Lead to help lead our before-school program. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and is ready to build leadership skills while supporting the daily operations of a school-age child care program. As a Team Lead, you'll partner with the Site Leader to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for elementary students. When the Site Leader is away, you'll confidently step in to keep the program running smoothly. What You'll Do What You'll Do Every morning, you'll help children start their day in a positive, welcoming environment. As a Team Lead, you'll: • Help oversee daily program operations. • Lead groups of elementary students in engaging activities. • Support and coach Child Care Associates. • Assist with opening procedures and daily routines. • Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and administrators. • Help ensure a safe environment and maintain licensing standards. • Step into the Site Leader role when needed. • Be a positive role model for both children and staff. You'll spend part of your day leading children and part of your day helping lead the team. Requirements We're looking for someone who enjoys both working with children and supporting others. Minimum Qualifications • 18 years of age or older • High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred) • Previous child care or youth program experience • Leadership experience in child care, retail, camps, recreation, education, or customer service is a plus • Ability to pass a background check • First Aid/CPR certification (or ability to obtain after hire) Nice to Have You'll Be Successful If You... • Love working with children. • Naturally take initiative. • Enjoy helping others succeed. • Communicate clearly and professionally. • Stay organized in a fast-paced environment. • Adapt quickly when plans change. • Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. • Want to continue growing as a leader.
