Description
We’re seeking a skilled and safety-conscious welder to join our growing team. This role is critical to the success of our automation and integration projects, requiring precision, reliability, and a commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will support both in-house fabrication and on-site installations, contributing to the seamless execution of custom automation solutions. Key Responsibilities • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless components • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols • Fabricate and assemble structural and mechanical parts to spec • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety standards • Collaborate with engineering and field teams to support project timelines • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area • Travel to client sites as needed for installation and support Qualifications Required: • 3+ years of welding/fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. • Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding experience preferred. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication prints. • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and measurement tools. • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Preferred: • Experience in custom machinery or automation equipment. • Familiarity with cutting saw, CNC plasma cutting, Water jet or press brake operation. • Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent). • Forklift and overhead crane experience.
