Starting at $25.01/hr. The compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's level of experience. Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts, possibility of overtime on Fridays Essential Functions of the Job: Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead) Setting & adjusting settings of weld equipment Inspect welds for accuracy Occasionally use hand plasma Occasionally reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Setting up components for welding according to specifications Occasionally operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
