Weekday Childcare Teacher Department : Women’s Ministry Employment Type : Part time- Seasonal (Fall & Spring) Tuesdays 8:45-11:45 and/or Thursdays 8:45-11:45 Opportunities for additional hours Compensation : $16.50 an hour Job Description To ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social and physical needs. To be a positive role model for all staff, parents and children. Duties: -Share Christ’s love with the children in a nurturing, safe, fun environment -Engage children in activities and stimulating play -Manage classroom with positive feedback, encouragement, and re-direction -Teach provided bible lesson and assist children with craft -Supervise snack and playground time -Assist children with restroom use, hand washing, diaper changing -Professionally communicate with parents -Maintain a clean, organized environment -Be punctual and have minimal absences Qualifications -A Christian who loves Jesus and desires to serve Him at all times -Have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, able to relate well with children -Clear Live Scan and Criminal Background -Willing to complete Mandated Reporting Training -Be mentally and physically capable of caring for a group of children
