Description
An independent water treatment specialist is looking to recruit a Water Treatment Account Manager / Service Engineer to cover the North West region. This is a hybrid role combining technical service delivery with account management and sales responsibilities, offering a great opportunity for someone looking to progress within a growing business. You will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, delivering high-quality service, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts through additional services and solutions. This role could suit someone currently in an Engineers position looking to progress in to Account Management Key Responsibilities • Technical / Service Duties: • Service and maintain water treatment systems including: • Cooling Towers • Steam Boilers • Closed Systems • Carry out water testing and chemical analysis • Adjust and manage chemical dosing programmes • Conduct system inspections and ensure compliance • Diagnose faults and implement remedial actions • Produce accurate service reports and recommendations Account Management / Sales Duties: • Manage and develop an existing portfolio of accounts • Identify and secure new business opportunities • Upsell water treatment services, chemicals, and equipment • Build and maintain strong client relationships • Prepare quotations and proposals • Work closely with internal teams to deliver high service standards Experience Required • Proven experience within the water treatment industry • Strong knowledge of: • Cooling towers • Steam boilers • Closed loop systems • Experience with chemical dosing and water analysis • Previous account management or sales experience (desirable) • Strong client-facing and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage workload • Full UK driving licence Salary & Package • Basic salary: £35K – £45K (DOE) • Bonus / commission structure • Company vehicle • Fuel card • Pension scheme • Holiday + bank holidays • Ongoing training and development
