Water & Sewer / Civil Project Manager

Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Water & Sewer / Civil Project Manager to oversee underground infrastructure and civil construction projects throughout Saskatchewan. Responsabiltiies:
• Manage water, sewer, and civil construction projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, surveyors, suppliers, and internal project teams
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Support field supervisors and forepersons by providing direction and resolving project-related issues
• Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations
• Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders
• Manage project documentation, reporting, RFIs, submittals, and project closeout requirements
• Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
• Promote and enforce company health, safety, and environmental policies
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity
Required Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of project coordination or project management experience in Saskatchewan
• Proven experience managing water and sewer infrastructure projects
• Civil construction experience is required
• Strong understanding of underground utility construction methods and municipal infrastructure projects
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with project documentation and reporting
• Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Preferred Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field is considered an asset
• Experience working with municipal infrastructure projects is considered an asset
• Experience with project management software is considered an asset
