Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account / Sales Manager to join a growing Sales team within the Water Treatment sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual to manage key client relationships, drive business growth, and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction across an established portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing Water Treatment clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within Water Treatment and Water Hygiene markets
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure mutually beneficial agreements
• Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and client presentations
• Conduct site visits and technical consultations to understand client requirements
• Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams to ensure successful service delivery
• Lead client meetings and maintain clear communication on projects, updates, and performance
• Produce reports and analyse sales data using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders including Facilities Managers, Engineers, and Procurement teams
• Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities
Key Requirements
• Proven experience within the Water Treatment industry (essential)
• Strong background in account management and business development
• Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
• Solid understanding of Legionella control and compliance frameworks such as ACoP L8 and HSG 274
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, client-focused solutions
• Highly self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
• Industry certifications in water treatment or Legionella control (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
