About Swiftclean Swiftclean is one of the UK’s longest-established providers of water hygiene and duct cleaning services. We deliver comprehensive compliance solutions for building managers across air and water hygiene, as well as kitchen extract fire safety. The opportunity We are looking for a Legionella Monitoring Technician to join our established team, covering the Slough area. This is a varied field-based role, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and water hygiene tasks to support the effective control of Legionella bacteria. Key responsibilities • Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks to support the control of Legionella bacteria. • Complete temperature monitoring of water services, including plant and distribution systems. • Undertake shower cleaning and descaling, water tank cleaning and disinfection. • Inspect water services plant, including cold water storage tanks and calorifiers. • Carry out TMV inspections, servicing and basic water system remedial works, including removing dead legs and water tanks. • Collect water samples for microbiological analysis. • Identify potential non-conformances beyond the immediate scope of works. • Complete all tasks in line with company method statements, procedures and health and safety requirements. • Liaise professionally with client and site personnel regarding work progress, issues and remedial requirements. • Communicate progress issues or site problems to the office promptly. • Represent Swiftclean professionally and help promote a positive company image. • Liaise with the sales team on important site issues and required remedial works. About you You will have strong technical knowledge of hot and cold domestic water systems and a proactive approach to identifying and reporting potential compliance issues. You should be confident working on client sites, communicating clearly and maintaining a professional standard at all times.
