Job Description Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements, ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel and receiving in finished goods, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities. Responsibilities • Follow all safety, environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position. • Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements. • Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies. • Delegating and assigning tasks and targets and evaluating the working of staff. • Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior. • Evaluate performance and administer appropriate guidance to employees. • Utilize and demonstrate (for training) use of electronic inventory scanning equipment. • Monitor loading and receiving operations. • Receive packaged products and inbound supplies. • Cross-train with Operations and provide backup as a Production Supervisor when needed. • Conducts weekly tool box training. • Monitor inventory regularly. • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation. • Complete all associated paperwork/reports correctly to perform this position. • Operate forklift and provide forklift operation training to employees. • Act as fill in for the job of Superintendent in the area in which they work in the case of an absence. • Attend daily production/quality meetings.
