Join a well-established aluminium business in a hands-on warehouse and trade counter role, working with quality materials and professional systems. Mon–Fri | 8:00am–4:30pm What you will be doing: Pick, pack, and dispatch orders with accuracy Load/unload trucks using forklifts and lifting equipment Handle aluminium (long lengths, heavy materials) Maintain stock accuracy and dispatch documentation Serve trade customers with product knowledge and efficiency Requirements Solid experience in warehousing or trade supply Current forklift licence (F endorsed) or strong forklift operating experience Confident with manual handling; stock control experience is a plus Experience in trade counter sales or customer service in a trade environment Able to perform repeated loading and unloading and remain on your feet through the shift Eligible to work in New Zealand Experience using trade counter order processing systems or processes is a plus Gantry crane experience is a plus Knowledge of the metal industry is a plus Benefits Permanent role with guaranteed hours and weekly wages Stable, growing business with long-term opportunities Training and upskilling (including crane operation) Modern equipment and strong safety culture Supportive team and great workplace culture Health and wellness programme Flat structure and approachable leaders Enhanced parental leave Why people stay at Vulcan: Stable work, good team culture, and real opportunities to grow within a trusted industry leader.
