Description
Role Overview This role ensures the warehouse runs smoothly by keeping stock levels accurate, goods flow in and out properly, and the workspace stays clean and safe. Every day you’ll check incoming deliveries, organise inventory, handle self-collect orders, and resolve any discrepancies that could disrupt operations. Your attention to detail directly supports the company’s ability to fulfil orders on time and maintain reliable stock records. Key Responsibilities • Oversee loading and offloading of shipments, cross-checking items against delivery paperwork and flagging any mismatches before goods leave or enter the warehouse. • Update the warehouse management system with every stock movement, including transfers, returns, adjustments, and issues between branches, always backing them up with approved documentation. • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, verifying quantities, quality, and product condition against purchase orders, then immediately report damaged or incorrect items. • Organise stock for maximum space use, apply FIFO rotation, and keep storage areas clearly labelled so items are easy to locate and count. • Run scheduled cycle counts and random spot checks, comparing physical stock to system records, investigating differences, and helping with full stock takes. • Prepare orders for self-collect customers, check their identification and paperwork, hand over the correct products in good condition, and record each transaction. • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping to 5S standards, spot hazards, and report any equipment or facility repairs needed to keep the workplace safe. Requirements & Qualifications • Qualified CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent. • Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, Logistics, or a closely related field. • Minimum two years of hands‑on experience in warehouse operations or stock control. • Proficient computer skills, particularly with inventory management or ERP systems. • Strong attention to detail, high integrity, and a methodical approach to problem‑solving. • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with team members and customers. • Solid understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices. • Must be willing to complete a video interview, an aptitude test, and a job simulation assessment as part of the selection process.
