LOCATION IS NORTH WEST - KELSALL / TARPORLEY AREA CW POSTCODE - CHESHIRE Meridian business support is recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives for an online retailer based near Tarporley on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be working Monday to Friday (no weekends) 8am-5pm with an hourly rate of £12.71 As Warehouse Operative you will be working in a team of other Warehouse and Yard Operatives with a variety of duties which will include heavy lifting of furniture. Duties as below: • Unloading of 40ft shipping containers (Full of furniture) decanting into the warehouse • Picking furniture from the warehouse ready to load on 3.5 tonne vans • Load the vans, securing the furniture in place • Picking furniture for Amazon PRIME, DPD and their 3rd Party delivery partner • Labelling the furniture and loading onto their delivery partners' vans • General warehousing duties, def ragging and creating space • Unloading of returning vehicles from delivery runs • Sorting Returns • Light repairs to returned stock • Readying items for sale on eBay Skills and Experience Required: • Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or Yard Operative • Good knowledge of warehouse activities including picking, dispatch and return Immediate start !
