Perm Mon-Fri Full-time
An accurate and numerate warehouse operative is required for Hunters’ client, a growing, friendly and fast-paced distribution business. This is a hands-on role ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and despatched accurately and on time, while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
The Warehouse Operative Role
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders to individual specifications, ensuring accurate and timely despatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely using manual handling techniques.
• Move and store stock in the correct warehouse locations for smooth and efficient retrieval.
• Attach correct shipping labels and move completed orders to the dispatch area ready for courier collection.
• Use the Warehouse Management System to maintain accurate stock records and track pallet movements.
The Warehouse Operative Role About You
• Holds a current forklift/counterbalance licence with practical experience.
• Driving licence
• Confident reading delivery notes and working with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable using computers and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling, lifting and working at height.
