Position Summary Bell Cabinetry & Design Center is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support warehouse and production operations. This position is responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely receive, move, store, and load materials while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and organized flow of materials within the warehouse or production environment. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility. Load and unload trucks, containers, materials, and supplies onto outbound trucks. Unload sheet stock, hardwood lumber, finishing Materials from vendor trucks. Load sheet stock material into StoreTeq system. Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage. Transport hardwood lumber into solid wood cell from Receiving area. Move and stage materials for production and warehouse operations. Organize and store inventory in designated rack and storage locations. Maintain accurate inventory locations, material and receipt transactions into Insight for proper inventory records. Assist with material counts and inventory audits as needed. Maintain a clean warehouse, empty dumpsters and organized areas and free of safety hazards. Remove waste & dispose of bunks of wood after loading material into StoreTeq. Remove general waste from the production areas. Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly to the maintenance department. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures. When other tasks are completed, support Receiving team by unloading trucks and moving items into hardware cage and production team as needed. Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned. Manage and support the solvent reclaim process, maintaining accurate weekly consumption, production, reclaim, and waste disposal reports to track material usage, identify efficiencies, and ensure proper environmental compliance. Qualifications Valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience as a forklift driver. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and procedures. Ability to operate the forklift in a confident and precise manner for extended periods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials of varying sizes and weights. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience preferred. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
