Waking Night Carer (*Female), St Albans, AL4. Weekdays: £18.50 gross per hour | Weekends: £19.00 gross per hour. Rewarding opportunity to support a 21-year-old with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and complex medical needs. Join a long-standing, welcoming care team supporting a warm, sociable young lady to remain safe and comfortable overnight. Key Information • Job Title: Waking Night Carer • Pay: Weekdays: £18.50 gross per hour | Weekends: £19.00 gross per hour • Location: St Albans, AL4 • Start Date: As Soon As Possible • Hours and Days of Work: Fridays 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM plus bank hours to cover annual leave and rota gaps. Weekday shifts: 10:00 PM to 7:30 AM | Weekend shifts: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM • Essential Experience: Experienced Waking Night Carer. Confident supporting a client with complex needs, including PEG feeding, manual handling and medication administration. Non-smoker/vaper. Good standard of spoken and written English. • Desirable: Bipap, SATs monitoring experience and suctioning (Full training provided) • Driver Required: No • Family Pets: Cat and Dog • Accommodation / Facilities: Carer’s lounge available adjacent to client’s room and separate carers kitchen. • Recruiter: Rachael [email protected] Hannah, 21, is a fun-loving young lady who enjoys cinema trips, coffee dates, time outdoors and having her nails painted. She has cerebral palsy, is visually impaired, has global developmental delay and epilepsy, requiring overnight support with her complex care. Working alongside a dedicated, experienced team, you will help ensure Hannah remains comfortable, safe and well throughout the night. This role suits a kind, observant and reliable Waking Night Carer with experience in PEG feeding, manual handling and medication administration. Full training is provided in BiPAP, suctioning and SATs monitoring. Regular Friday night shifts are available, with additional bank hours to provide flexibility. *Where a specific gender is essential to meet the client's needs, this is a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
