Description
"Zero trust is a cybersecurity paradigm focused on resource protection and the premise that trust is never granted implicitly but must be continually evaluated. ” - NIST SP 800-207 Modern Public Key Infrastructure relies on the Zero Trust Architecture with a focus on device management and modern authentication/access control models.
The VPKI architect will design a scalable SCMS solution with a zero-trust model focused on identity, device, network, real-time applications and data.
Minimum qualification
• MS degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer or Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of experience or PhD degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in software development, system design, and architecture
Responsibilities
• Design a scalable PKI system with elastic resource management with stringent requirements for latency, scalability and reliability
• Review different Multi-access Edge Compute (MEC) models and develop microservices for SCMS components
• Design big data streaming solutions at scale using Istio, Kafka and Flink
• Leverage the latest tools for authentication and authorization (e.g., OAuth 2.0, Attribute-based crypto, OpenID connect), ID management and SIEM systems.
Required Skills
• Expert in designing Defense in Depth Security solutions and familiarity with industries’ best practices, procedures and policies with Zero Trust models.
• Deep knowledge in scaling algorithms including the CAP theorem and its variants.
• Familiaty with ML models that include Online ensemble learning, Kalman filtering, Reinforcement learning, and Graph machine learning.
• Knowledge of Non-Interactive Zero Knowlege Proofs and lattice-based crypto to develop attribute-based authentication and encryption models.
• In-depth knowledge of Hadoop,MongoDB, Cassandra, Spark, and similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS analytics tools, load balancers, CDNs, etc.
• Expert in developing solutions using HSM (cloud HSMs) and TEE.
• Familiarity with NIST Special Publication 800-207 - Zero Trust Architecture
• Expert in threat intelligence management, vulnerability research, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to work in a cross-functional role within the organization
