This person will lead the sales organization, develop a repeatable and scalable sales process, and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds revenue targets. This is a hands-on leadership role and will coach and manage the sales team while remaining closely involved in major opportunities, strategic accounts, forecasting, pipeline development, and deal execution. The ideal candidate is a strong sales leader who can balance strategy with execution. They understand how to build high-performing teams, create accountability, improve sales operations, and successfully sell a technical B2B SaaS product to sophisticated customers. As Pirros continues to grow, the VP of Sales will play a critical role in increasing revenue, expanding market presence, and building the sales foundation required for the company’s next stage. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own Pirros’ sales strategy, revenue plan, and lead, manage, coach, and develop the Sales and Business Development teams - Establish clear goals, performance expectations, territories, and accountability across the organization - Manage the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation and discovery through negotiation and close - Personally support and lead strategic, complex, and high-value opportunities - Develop accurate revenue forecasts and provide clear pipeline reporting to company leadership - Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, pipeline coverage, deal velocity, and other key metrics - Partner with Marketing to improve lead generation, positioning, messaging, and campaign effectiveness - Partner with Customer Success to support smooth customer handoffs, renewals, expansion, and long-term account growth - Work closely with Product and Engineering to communicate market feedback, customer needs, objections, and competitive insights - Improve sales enablement, onboarding, training, messaging, playbooks, and objection-handling resources - Build and continuously improve a repeatable, scalable sales process - Develop compensation plans and incentive structures that align sales performance with company goals - Represent Pirros with customers, prospects, partners, and industry stakeholders WHAT YOU’LL OWN - Revenue performance — Pirros consistently meets or exceeds its new business and growth targets - Sales team performance — the team is coached, accountable, motivated, and operating at a high level - Pipeline development — the organization maintains sufficient, high-quality pipeline to support revenue goals - Forecasting accuracy — leadership has a reliable
