Share on Email Job Description: Client is a growing biopharma company with several Phase 3 clinical trials globally. They are looking for a VP of Supply Chain to lead commercialization and global packaging development. The ideal candidate is hands-on and experienced in launching biologics, serialization, and working with vendors internationally. This role oversees a team of four and collaborates with quality and audit leads. Candidate should have strong commercial supply chain experience in a biotech environment and be comfortable operating in a high-ambiguity, small company setting. Responsibilities: • Vendor interaction, system selection, and supporting the commercial buildout of the supply chain function. • Client is supporting 7 global clinical trials (3 in Phase 3) • The new VP will oversee the director, two other roles, and a consultant (team of 4 total) • Role is very hands-on, working directly with other groups (supporting audits, QMS, remediation) • Candidate should have experience launching and commercializing biologics • Focus areas include serialization, commercial forecasting, packaging development • Expectation to identify the systems to be implemented • Strong preference for candidates who have previously worked in smaller biopharma companies and can handle ambiguity • Some logistics work and vendor management included • Must be familiar with international requirements (e.g., current challenges with Israel) • Limited travel expected (10% or less) • Strong communicator with the ability to identify key supply chain questions upfront • Startup commercialization experience is essential, as the company is building out its commercial supply chain from the ground up.
