Pertemps Birmingham Commercial is recruiting an experienced VNA Driver to join a specialist logistics and distribution firm in Erdington. This full-time role offers a salary between £13.54 and £18 per hour, dependent on the shift worked. You will operate a Very Narrow Aisle truck within a modern distribution centre, focusing on the safe storage and replenishment of pharmaceutical products. Key duties include putting away inbound stock, replenishing picking locations, and maintaining stringent safety and compliance standards. The position offers fixed shift patterns: 06:00-14:00, 15:00-23:00, or 22:00-06:00. Candidates must possess proven VNA operation experience and a strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and warehouse safety protocols. Location: Birmingham, Erdington Shift Pattern:FIXED SHIFT 06:00-14:00 FIXED SHIFT 15:00-23:00 FIXED SHIFT 22:00-06:00 Pay Rate: £13.54 - £18.00 per hour (depending on shift) About the RoleWe are recruiting experienced VNA Drivers to join a leading logistics and distribution company specialising in the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products. Working within a modern, fast-paced distribution centre, you will play a key role in ensuring products are stored, picked, and replenished accurately while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Operate a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse. Put away inbound stock into designated warehouse locations. Replenish picking locations to ensure operational efficiency. Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse systems. Load and unload vehicles as required. Carry out stock movements, inventory checks, and cycle counts. Ensure products are handled in accordance with pharmaceutical quality standards. Report damaged stock, shortages, or discrepancies promptly. Skills & ExperienceEssential Valid and accredited VNA licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent). Previous experience operating a VNA truck within a warehouse or distribution environment. Experience working in a fast-paced logistics operation. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work towards productivity and quality targets. Good communication skills. Flexible to work rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
