ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a fast, trend-savvy, and hands-on Video Marketing Artist to fuel our User Acquisition engine. In this operational role, you will produce high-converting, hyper-dynamic video ads optimized for platforms like TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You won't just edit videos; you will reverse-engineer what makes people stop scrolling, iterate endlessly on hooks, and leverage Artificial Intelligence to supercharge your creative output. If you live on social media, edit at the speed of culture, and know how to use AI to work smarter, we want you. We don't need heavy After Effects compositions—we need native, performance-driven content. MEETING YOUR FUTURE JOB 1. Native Ad Production (Operational) Edit highly engaging, fast-paced video ads using CapCut, Premiere Pro, or your software of choice. Master native social media codes: text overlays, pacing, transitions, and the specific visual language of TikTok and Reels. Implement killer sound design (SFX, music syncing, whooshes, impacts) to make every ad feel energetic and satisfying. 2. Hook Iteration & Testing Create multiple variations of the first 3 seconds (the "Hook") for every core video to relentlessly test what captures user attention. Translate marketing concepts and app features into compelling visual narratives that drive immediate action. AI Integration: Use AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude) to rapidly ideate angles, generate script variations, and brainstorm new visual hooks. 3. AI & Asset Generation Implement AI-driven tools directly into your editing workflow to save time and scale production. Generate realistic voiceovers using tools like ElevenLabs, or create custom visual assets using Sora, Veo3, HeyGen, etc. Continuously experiment with new AI video and audio models to stay ahead of the curve. 4. Trend Scouting & Benchmarking Continuously monitor viral TikTok sounds, memes, and formats, adapting them quickly for our app portfolio. Analyze competitors' ads to identify their winning formulas—and their weaknesses—so you can "roast and fix" them for our own campaigns. Maintain an internal library of creative inspiration, winning templates, and AI hacks to share with the broader Growth team. 5. Performance Monitoring Track the performance of your shipped creatives (focusing on metrics like CTR, CPI, and 3-second retention). Identify trends (what hooks work? what pacing drives the best ROI?) and feed these data-backed insights directly into your next batch of edits.   ABOUT YOU Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a creative video role, preferably within a performance marketing or User Acquisition ecosystem (freelance or agency experience counts). Tech Stack: Excellent editing skills on an video editing software. (Complex 3D or heavy After Effects skills are not required). AI Native: You are comfortable using AI tools (LLMs, Voice generation, Video generation) to speed up tasks. You view AI as a production assistant, not a shortcut. Social Media Savvy: You have a deep understanding of TikTok and Reels codes/trends. You know the difference between a high-performing "native" ad and a boring corporate video. Sound & Rhythm: You have a great ear for pacing and sound design, knowi
