Description
We create video content based on live-action footage as well as hybrid projects that seamlessly blend real footage with AI-generated content. We are looking for an independent, self-driven Strong Middle Video Editor who easily navigates diverse styles - from fast-paced, dynamic edits to calm, atmospheric stories crafted in a premium/luxury aesthetic. Key Responsibilities Editing & Assembly: Edit talking heads, vertical, horizontal, and event/reportage videos. Footage Handling: Work with materials from live events, video shoots, and trips. Multi-cam & Audio Sync: Handle multi-camera setups, camera synchronization, and external audio alignment. Audio Post-Production: Clean up and mix audio, select background music, and craft SFX. Motion Graphics: Basic to intermediate motion design (titles, lower thirds, graphics animation). Stock Research: Search and curate footage from stock platforms. AI Integration: Integrate AI-generated content into live-action footage. End-to-End Ownership: Independently manage projects from brief intake to final export. Requirements Experience: Commercial experience with a portfolio that proves a Strong Middle level. Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve ( our entire team uses this software ). Stylistic Range: Proven ability to edit both fast-paced dynamic videos and calm, aesthetic premium/luxury content. Technical Skills: Confident with multi-cam edits and external sound synchronization. Color grading and matching footage from different cameras, including Sony and Panasonic. Deep understanding of node structures in DaVinci Resolve, color spaces, and working with scopes. Experience with Sony S-Log, Panasonic V-Log, and DJI D-Log (correct color space transformation, exposure alignment, white balance, contrast, and natural skin tones). Creative & Professional Traits: Great sense of rhythm, strong visual taste, and high attention to detail. Soft Skills: Open to feedback, respectful of agreed deadlines, highly adaptable, and eager to test new AI tools/technologies. Languages: Fluent Russian and Upper-Intermediate English or higher . Technical Setup Requirements Hardware: A powerful PC/Mac capable of smooth 4K video editing. Storage Space: Ample local storage (standard projects range from 30–100 GB; larger projects range from 500 GB to 1 TB). Connection: Fast and stable high-speed Internet. Accessibility: Uninterrupted access to Google Drive, Higgsfield, and other global services (reliable VPN if needed). Portfolio Requirements (Mandatory) We will only consider candidates whose portfolios include: Talking head videos. Event / travel / reportage videos. Your portfolio must clearly showcase your ability to handle both high-energy, dynamic edits and subtle, atmospheric premium/luxury aesthetics (a single project can combine these elements). Benefits Location: 100% Remote. Employment Type: Full-time. Work Schedule: 6/1, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Dubai time, GST). Compensation: Paid in foreign currency ($/€ or equivalent).
