Role Overview Collect high-quality motion and synchronized video data using your smartphone to train next-generation AI systems. This contractor role focuses on precise sensor and video capture during specified physical activities, following strict technical protocols to produce reliable datasets for AI and robotics applications. No prior AI experience is required; domain knowledge and careful execution are what matter. Key Responsibilities • Capture precise motion data from your smartphone IMU sensors while performing specified physical activities. • Record synchronized video footage (head-mounted and other views as required) to ensure the integrity and accuracy of motion data. • Follow detailed technical protocols and labeling standards to meet quality and determinism requirements. • Deliver a minimum of 10 hours of high-quality, approved video data each week throughout the project. • Communicate clearly and proactively with the project team to clarify requirements and share observations about data collection. • Maintain timely, reliable delivery aligned with project milestones and expectations. • Participate in device compatibility checks and an AI-enabled interview as part of onboarding. Qualifications • Access to a compatible smartphone capable of high-fidelity sensor and video capture. Supported devices include iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 or later, and Samsung Galaxy S21 or later. • Access to a head strap so you can record both hands within 48 hours of the start date. • High attention to detail and proven ability to follow standardized protocols consistently. • Demonstrated ability to manage output and meet deadlines in a dynamic, data-driven environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and remote collaboration. • Comfort and experience with mobile devices and sensor-based data collection workflows. • Physical ability to perform repetitive movement tasks safely and effectively. • Preferred but not required: background in robotics, kinesiology, human motion analysis, activity segmentation, sensor-based data collection, or experience structuring datasets for AI or robotics. • Note: applications submitted with a Gmail address are strongly preferred for tool integration. Work Terms • Contractor engagement, remote work only. • Role is open to experts based in Latin America and the Caribbean. Selected countries include Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, and Uruguay. • Deliver a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week. Minimum submission requirements apply and, depending on project specifications, experts may need to submit between 10 to 15 hours of video per week. • We typically fill roles within 48 hours and seek teammates who can start their first task as soon as possible if selected. Compensation • Base pay listed as $6 per hour. • Compensation is output-based, paid per recorded video that meets project specifications. • Actual time required to complete work varies by individual experience and workflow. Eligibility • Must be located in one of the eligible Latin America or Caribbean countries listed in Work Terms. • Must be able to supply a compatible smartphone and a head strap within 48 hours of start date. • Must be able to perform required physical activities safely. • Independent contractor status; any tax, benefits, or local compliance obligations are the contractor''s responsibility.
