Role Overview Contribute to a client-driven project that improves AI systems by producing high-quality video annotations. You will review short video clips, identify recurring events, and produce precise, timestamped labels and clear written descriptions that help train next-generation models. This is a remote contractor role that values domain knowledge over prior AI experience. Key Responsibilities • Review short video clips and identify and categorize recurring events according to provided guidelines • Annotate each recognized event with accurate timestamps for every occurrence • Write clear, concise, and consistent descriptions for annotated events • Apply annotation protocols carefully to maintain consistency and data integrity • Maintain high attention to detail and labeling accuracy across deliverables • Collaborate with project leads and other contributors to resolve questions and incorporate feedback • Submit regular deliverables that align with project milestones and expectations Qualifications • Required skills: video annotation, attention to detail, data labeling accuracy, English language proficiency, collaborative mindset, analytical thinking, ability to follow guidelines • Preferred experience includes prior video annotation or similar data labeling work • Experience contributing to AI training or data-centric projects is advantageous but not required • Ability to work independently in a distributed team and adapt to evolving annotation criteria and feedback • Strong written English for producing clear annotation descriptions and communicating with project leads Work Terms Role type: contractor. Location: remote. Work consists of labeling short video clips and delivering annotations according to project guidelines and milestones. You will engage with project leads and other contributors as needed. The engagement is project-driven and requires meeting quality and timeline expectations for submitted work. Compensation Pay range: $40.00 to $80.00 per hour. Eligibility Candidates must be able to engage as independent contractors. There are no explicit prior AI credentials required; domain expertise and the skills listed above are the primary criteria.
