Arcesium is a global financial technology firm solving complex data-driven challenges for sophisticated financial institutions. This Vice President - Senior Principal Infrastructure Engineer role leads the Infrastructure Engineering team, owning delivery across Identity & Access Management, Linux Compute, Discovery, Networking, Observability, SDLC, and Storage systems built on AWS and Linux. What You'll Do • Own delivery and make individual contributions within the ecosystem powering the SaaS API-driven business • Lead people in delivering strong technical solutions, including those who may report to you or through collaboration • Construct innovative infrastructure systems, applications, and tools that streamline how Arcesium's applications interoperate • Take ownership of critical technology infrastructure built on multiple underlying technologies, tools, and programming languages • Provide highly available, reliable critical services to customer-facing applications and developers What You Need • 5+ years of relevant infrastructure experience • Demonstrated ownership of critical systems and ability to successfully deliver systems and features • Advanced proficiency in Python with eagerness to work with Java, Go, and Bash as needed • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, SDLC, authentication, and authorization • Ability to craft reliable and performant solutions using custom software and open-source technology • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline Nice to Have • Experience running critical workloads in AWS • Proven track record of owning and operating vital polyglot infrastructure systems such as Linux, Kubernetes, DNS, and Kerberos • Prior experience leading people • Ability to use GenAI tools as a force multiplier for skillset Annual base salary $220,000–$280,000, variable year-end bonus (guaranteed first year), medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k matching
