Description
Shape the future of how the world's biggest Salesforce teams build, protect, and innovate. Location: Remote (US) / Pleasanton, CA Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Why This Role Matters Every day, the world's most mission-critical companies — banks, hospitals, governments, and Fortune 500 enterprises — run on Salesforce. And every day, the teams behind those orgs face a choice: move fast or stay safe. At Flosum, we refuse that tradeoff. As the only 100% Salesforce-native DevSecOps, data, and security platform, we empower teams to ship fearlessly, recover instantly, and govern with confidence — all without leaving the platform they love. We're looking for a visionary product leader who sees what's possible when innovation and trust live in the same place. Someone who wants to leave a fingerprint on an entire ecosystem. The Opportunity This is more than a product role — it's a chance to architect the operating system for the modern Salesforce enterprise. You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a platform that touches release managers at sunrise, developers at midnight, and CISOs every minute in between. You'll lead a passionate team of product managers, partner shoulder-to-shoulder with brilliant engineers, and sit at the table with customers solving problems that matter — from accelerating releases by 10x to recovering an org in minutes after a catastrophic event. If you've ever wanted to build the category-defining product in Salesforce DevOps, this is your moment. What You'll Do Set the North Star. Craft a bold, multi-year product vision that anticipates where Salesforce — and the AI-powered enterprise — is heading next, from Agentforce to Data Cloud and beyond. Build the team that builds the future. Recruit, mentor, and inspire a world-class product organization across DevOps, data management, and security — a team people fight to join and never want to leave. Obsess over customers. Sit with admins, developers, release managers, and security leaders. Understand their 2 a.m. anxieties and their 10 a.m. ambitions. Turn those insights into products they'll champion. Ship things that matter. Drive the full lifecycle — from messy whiteboard to flawless launch — for capabilities like Git-based version control, AI-assisted code review, intelligent backup & recovery, and zero-trust security. Stay ahead of the platform. Turn every Salesforce release into an opportunity, not a fire drill, ensuring Flosum is always first and always native. Win the category. Outthink and outmaneuver every competitor by knowing the market deeper than anyone else and telling a story only Flosum can tell. Be a force multiplier. Partner with marketing, sales, success, and AppExchange & SI partners to turn great products into great businesses. Requirements Who You Are A product leader with 10+ years of experience and the scars and wins to prove it — including 3+ years building and leading PM teams. A Salesforce native at heart — you dream in metadata, you've debugged a deployment at midnight, and you know why governor limits exist (and how to live with them). A builder who has shipped DevOps, ALM, data protection, or security products that customers genuinely love. A strategist who can paint the 5-year picture and an operator who can ship next Tuesday. A storyteller comfortable in front of a single customer, a packed room, an analyst, or a board. A magnet for talent and a champion of the people you lead. Bonus Superpowers Deep fluency in Git, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and modern developer workflows. Experience with backup, archival, sandbox seeding, and data masking at enterprise scale. Battle-tested in regulated environments — SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR. A point of view on how AI will reshape the Salesforce admin and developer experience — and the chops to ship it. Salesforce certifications, an engineering background, or an MBA
