North Boston Animal Hospital is opening in October 2026, and we’re looking for a full-time Practice Manager to help lead the launch of our brand-new general practice and urgent care hospital. This is a unique opportunity to build a team, shape the culture, and establish the systems that will define the hospital from day one. You’ll lead veterinarians, technicians, and support staff while overseeing daily operations, team development, and the client experience. Located in Boston’s historic North End, our modern hospital will feature state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team excited to build something exceptional together. What to Expect Salary: $70,000 - $115,000 per year, determined by the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Eligibility for up to 15% performance-based annual bonus. Schedule: This is a full-time position. The hospital will be open 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM–9:00 PM. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations, with a primary focus on personnel management, including hiring, training, and development. Manage Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital operations, including scheduling and inventory management. Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement, maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience. Demonstrate initiative in balancing the needs of both the business and the staff. Qualifications: Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is required Experience executing clinical HR functions, including SOPs, evaluations, and disciplinary action. Ability to quickly learn and utilize our practice management system.
