Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown, PA is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Board Eligible or Board Certified Criticalist to our team.   Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) is a busy 24/7 emergency and referral hospital with full in-house laboratory capabilities, 6 surgical suites, fluoroscopy (C-arm), 64-slice GE Lightspeed CT with fluoroscopy package, 1.5T GE MRI, ultrasound, holmium laser, dental suite with cone beam CT and digital dental radiography, and endoscopy.  EPVMC has well-staffed referral services in Anesthesia, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Surgery along with a great team of emergency clinicians to offer advanced care to a well-educated and devoted client base. The area attracts families, young, professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts because it delivers a strong balance of lifestyle, affordability and opportunity.    To learn more about us visit us here  https://epvmc.com/       Veterinary Criticalist     Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown, PA  $200,000-225,000 annually   Plus, get up to a $50,000 incentive bonus   WHAT YOU’LL DO   Oversee and manage ICU patients, including trauma, sepsis, shock, respiratory distress, metabolic crises, and postoperative critical cases.  Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including point-of-care ultrasound, arterial/central line placement, and continuous hemodynamic monitoring.  Provide expert guidance on emergency stabilization, triage, and case management for ER and ICU staff.  Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, prognoses, and ongoing updates.  Collaborate with specialty departments (surgery, internal medicine, neurology, etc.) to deliver comprehensive patient care.  Lead and participate in CPR events following RECOVER guidelines.  Contribute to the development and improvement of ICU protocols, workflows, and training programs.  Mentor and support veterinarians, technicians, and support staff through rounds, case reviews, and teaching opportunities.  BENEFITS       We’re passionate about helping you reach your greatest potential – both at work and at home.
