Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Trainer / Motor Vehicle Trainer / Vehicle Maintenance Instructor We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist training provider delivering technical training within the Ministry of Defence. They are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive professional to join their team as a Vehicle Trainer / Motor Vehicle Trainer. This is an excellent opportunity to move off the tools and into education, passing on your knowledge to the next generation of military vehicle technicians. No teaching experience is required, as full support and a fully funded Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET) will be provided. Key Responsibilities • Deliver classroom and practical workshop training on vehicle systems and maintenance at Levels 2 and 3. • Support, coach and assess learners throughout their training. • Prepare engaging theory and practical lessons. • Ensure all training is delivered in line with MOD and awarding body standards. What We're Looking For • Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Engineer (civilian or military). • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics and maintenance. • Good communication skills with a desire to develop others. • No teaching qualification required. • Full training and a funded Level 4 CET will be provided. Salary & Benefits • £37,000 starting salary , rising to £40,000 once the fully funded Level 4 CET has been achieved. • 37-hour working week with an early finish every Wednesday. • Fully funded teaching qualification and structured trainer development. • Long-term career opportunities within technical education and defence training.
