What You Will Do • Teach – You’ll deliver clear, structured VCE English Language lessons (mainstream, Language, or Literature) that build conceptual understanding and essay technique. • Coach – Motivate students to engage with content, practice deliberately, and improve week-to-week. • Mentor – Share study strategies and relatable stories to build student confidence. • Connect – Build genuine connections with students. You're relatable, making it easy to relate and inspire. What You Will Bring • 99+ ATAR and 45+ raw study score in VCE English   Language (non-negotiable) • First-year university level knowledge or above in English, Arts, or related Humanities • Tutoring experience in VCE English Language (favourable) • Academic Awards in English Language (favourable) • Past VCE Graduate (students learn best from those who once were in their shoes!) • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts • Energy, empathy, independence, and a proactive mindset • Honesty, Integrity, and a genuine Passion for Teaching • A full academic year commitment (e.g. no overseas exchange trips for 8 weeks) • Ability to commit to weekly classes with minimum 10+ hours availability per week (e.g. can't constantly reschedule or miss classes) • Travel to our Campuses (Glen Waverley) • Alignment with Contour’s mission, (non-compete agreement required) • A genuine desire to motivate students (e.g. your primary goal is to help students achieve their potential, like us!)
