Description Department of Neurology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is recruiting a vascular neurologist to expand its Comprehensive Stroke Program at Mount Sinai Queens. Mount Sinai Health System has one of the busiest stroke programs in the Northeast and is a major tertiary referral center for emergent large vessel occlusions. The department has a robust clinical research enterprise, participates in national trials, and offers opportunities for clinical and bench research. Responsibilities • Collaborate with colleagues as an integral part of a health system. • Participate in clinical activities within the MSHS Stroke Program at one or more integrated system hospitals, including inpatient stroke teaching service, stroke consult service, outpatient stroke clinic, and telestroke program. • Offer opportunities and support for clinical or bench research interests. • Engage in patient‑centered care and multidisciplinary care coordination. Qualifications • Medical degree from an accredited university. • New York medical license. • Board eligible or board certified in neurology. • Completed ACGME fellowship training in vascular neurology or equivalent. • Commitment to Mount Sinai and its communities. • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting. • Strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team‑oriented, performance‑driven health system. Compensation Salary range: $210 000 – $350 000 (not including bonuses or incentive compensation). Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and malpractice coverage.
