Pertemps Milton Keynes is looking for a Van Driver (Nights) to provide holiday cover at their Milton Keynes location. This full-time, temporary role pays £14.50 per hour and involves working shifts from 21:00 to 09:00. Cover is required for several days each month, with current dates including August and September. Your primary duty is delivering computer parts to storage facilities nationwide, where they are collected by IT Engineers the next morning. This position demands reliability, a valid driving licence, and the ability to work night shifts. Key skills include time management and safe driving practices, ensuring parts reach their destination securely for essential customer repairs. Night Van Driver (Holiday Cover) Position: Night Van Driver (Holiday Cover) Working Hours: 21:00 - 09:00 Location: Milton Keynes Pay: 14.50ph Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Night Van Driver to provide holiday cover throughout the year with shifts of a few days to a week or 2 most months. Current cover dates required: 17th – 21st August 24th – 28th August 14th – 18th September 21st – 25th September 19th – 23rd October 26th – 30th October The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver computer parts to storage facilities across the country. These parts will be collected by IT Engineers the following morning for customer repair work. Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently transport computer parts to designated storage facilities. Ensure timely deliveries to meet the needs of IT Engineers. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies. Requirements: Valid driver's license with a a maximum of 3 points. Proven experience as a multidrop van driver. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Ability to work independently and handle long night shifts.
