Description
The UX Researcher designs and conducts studies, synthesizes findings from qualitative and quantitative data, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize donation-related pages and forms.This role maps donor journeys, identifies pain points, and uses behavioral science to shape experiences that are intuitive, persuasive, and aligned with donor motivations.
Job Duties
•
Map donor journeys to identify motivation, friction, and decision points across digital touchpoints
•
Design, launch and interpret usability studies and insights on donation pages, forms, and flows using tools like VWO Insights, Qualtrics, and UserTesting
•
Design, launch, and interpret qualitative research such as interviews, surveys, intercepts, and heatmap analysis to uncover behavioral insights
•
Test and iterate form field labels, layouts, trust signals, calls to action, and urgency cues grounded in behavioral economics
•
Collaborate with designers, developers, content strategists, and stakeholders to translate insights into testable solutions
•
Document, present, and advocate for donor-centric design improvements based on research findings
•
Synthesize and report findings in a clear, actionable way to inform product, marketing, and fundraising teams
Knowledge of:

UX research methods (qual, quant, mixed methods, behavioral, attitudinal)
•
Donor psychology and digital giving behavior
•
Behavioral science principles such as social proof, scarcity, and cognitive load
•
Tools such as VWO Insights, Qualtrics,UserTesting, Google Analytics, Looker, or similar
•
Journey mapping and persona development
•
Research ethics and participant privacy
