The role
Please note, we are only accepting applicants from the provinces of Ontario and Québec for this role. For Québec-based candidates, fluency in English is necessary because the position entails collaboration with teams based in the rest of Americas and occasionally in Europe.

Role responsibilities
The Senior UX Designer is a key contributor within the Experience Design team, working closely with strategists, product owners, visual designers, creative directors, researchers, copywriters, developers, and client stakeholders.
This role is suited to someone with 5+ years of experience who can independently own significant UX activities within a workstream, while collaborating with senior leads on larger or more complex initiatives. It is not a people-management role, but it does include supporting junior designers through feedback, collaboration, and best-practice sharing.
The role operates across three core dimensions: Thinking, Interaction, and Storytelling.
Thinking: Research & Validation
Plan and conduct research and validation activities such as interviews, usability testing, heuristic reviews, and competitive analysis, to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
Synthesize insights into actionable UX recommendations.
Advocate for user needs and support evidence-based decisions throughout the design process.
Interactive: IA, Flows & Experience Design
Translate user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints into user journeys, information architecture, screen flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
Design interaction patterns that improve usability, accessibility, findability, and task completion, contributing to scalable design systems and UX frameworks.
Collaborate with visual designers and developers to translate the UX direction clearly into design and implementation.
Set foundations for a design system and help visual design document the interface to pixel-perfection.
Storytelling: Narrative & Content Design
Shape user-centered narratives and content hierarchies that align business goals, brand ambition, and user needs, translating research insights into compelling journeys and experience concepts.
