About the role • Rapidly assess and inspect utility poles, power lines, and related infrastructure after natural disasters. Identify damage, report hazards, and support restoration crews to safely and efficiently restore power. • Emergency response work in challenging, post-storm conditions. • Potentially long, irregular hours including nights and weekends. What you'll do • Inspect poles, lines, transformers for storm damage. • Identify and report safety hazards such as downed wires or leaning poles. • Document conditions using mobile devices and GPS. • Communicate findings to restoration teams for prioritized repairs. • Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective gear. • Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather and difficult terrain. • Knowledge of utility infrastructure preferred. • Physical ability to walk over debris, climb poles, and work long shifts.
