Establishes and maintains relationships with individual and institutional donors for the purpose of acquiring major gifts for the ministry. For this role: • Implement strategies for identifying and soliciting contributions from potential major gift donors and use appropriate Cru information systems to evaluate donor giving potential. • Develop and implement strategies for identifying and qualifying prospective donors to expand assigned caseload • Create, maintain, and build authentic relationships with current and prospective major ministry partners using a variety of communication strategies • Develop and implement an individualized communication plan for each assigned donor and record activities in appropriate Cru systems. • Prepare and make professional presentations about the ministry’s outreach projects including appeals for funds needed to implement these initiatives. • Appropriately acknowledge and thank assigned donors who contribute major gifts to the ministry. • Prepare and send timely reports to assigned donors about the impact of their giving. • Champion ministry events and campaigns targeted at major gift donors.
