Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals for a full-time, long-term role within a highly regarded Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the Brixton area. This "Outstanding" Ofsted-rated school is looking to appoint an unqualified Behaviour Mentor with a sports background to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school has received excellent feedback from previous staff and is known for its supportive and welcoming environment. Role Overview : As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who are unable to attend mainstream education due to behavioural challenges. You will work closely with students to help manage their behaviour, engage them in learning, and promote positive social interactions. Your sports background will be a valuable asset in fostering teamwork, discipline, and physical engagement with the students.
