Description
The UN Women Jordan Country Office is one of four countries alongside Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia that constitute the first cohort that will implement The Surging Women’s Employment Flagship Initiative (SWEI) Programme. The programme aims at increasing women’s employment by 5% by 2030 through innovative and collaborative approaches across governments, international financial institutions, the private sector, UN agencies, NGOs, and media with focus on the Green, STEM, and Care Economies (SWEI). The Private Sector Development Analyst will contribute to the effective management and implementation of the flagship initiative, by focusing on increasing decent employment opportunities for women through improving gender responsive workplaces and transformative partnerships with the private sector.
