Job Description: Our new Urology practice in East Brunswick is looking for a per diem Ultrasound Technician. One day per week, preferably Thursday. The Ultrasound technician responsibilities include: operating imaging equipment, and reviewing images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis . Identifying normal and abnormal imaging results, communicating a summary of the results to physicians or other health professionals, and alerting physicians to urgent problems. Requirements • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program • Proficiency in urology ultrasonography field • ARDMS Certification • Knowledge of medical terminology Pay Range: $50/hr - $60/hr Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
