UI/UX Designer (Mid/Senior) SYBO is part of the Miniclip family and known for the widely popular game, Subway Surfers - the most downloaded mobile game in the world, with over four and a half billion downloads. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we aim to create playful moments that inspire our fans to care. Some games chase trends. Subway Surfers helped define an entire genre. Now, we're looking for a UI/UX Designer to help shape what comes next. This is your chance to leave your mark on one of the biggest mobile games ever made. A game with a massive global audience, instant player feedback, and a team that never settles for "good enough". The challenge? Keeping an iconic game feeling fresh, modern, and innovative for hundreds of millions of players around the world. Come help evolve the visual experience of Subway Surfers, designing new features, game modes, and player journeys while continuously improving the experience that keeps players coming back. Some days you'll be crafting entirely new interfaces. Other days you'll make a tiny change that unlocks a surprisingly big impact. That's the fun part. If you enjoy solving creative puzzles, have a knack for details, and seeing your work reach millions of players, then this might just be your gig. Responsibilities Actively refine and improve existing UI/UX to elevate player engagement and satisfaction, ensuring Subway Surfers remains intuitive, modern, and enjoyable to play. Design and implement intuitive, engaging UI screens, assets, and interactions for new and existing features. Create UX wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to support feature development and player experiences. Help shape the visual direction of the game's interface, evolving and modernizing the experience, while staying true to the Subway Surfers brand. Ensure a consistent visual style, tone, and user experience across all UI elements. Create and maintain UI documentation, design systems, and style guides to support consistency and scalability. Optimize UI implementations to ensure smooth performance across a wide range of mobile devices. Life at SYBO In your first month... You'll be introduced to our tools, workflows, and ways of working while building relationships across the studio. With support from your teammates, you'll begin contributing to your first projects and quickly find your footing as part of the team. Within 3 months... You'll start taking ownership of more impactful work across the game, designing engaging interfaces and helping improve the player experience through thoughtful UI/UX solutions. You'll collaborate closely with the team to iterate on designs based on player feedback, insights, and performance data. By 12 months... You'll be a trusted contributor to the future of Subway Surfers, able to lead individual UI/UX initiatives across major features. At this point, your contributions to the UI style guide and visual framework will have enabled a smoother collaboration across teams, ensuring Subway Surfers will remain an evergreen. Requirements A strong portfolio demonstrating solid UI design work for games, with clear examples of creating intuitive, polished, and engaging player experiences. Strong ability to create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and polished final designs that effectively balance player needs and business goals. Skilled at designing, rendering, and animating high-quality UI elements that bring personality and clarity to the player experience. Advanced proficiency with modern UI/UX and prototyping tools, particularly Figma. Experience working with Unity and a solid understanding of UI implementation Bonus Points Knowledge of conducting user research and translating player insights into action
