University of California, Irvine is hiring a UCI Child Care Services Infant Toddler Teacher. The role involves supervising and caring for infants and toddlers while implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and promoting health, nutrition, safety, and strong relationships with children and families. Highlights • Supervise and care for 6 infants or 8 toddlers as part of a teaching team • Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and communicate it to parents and aides • Promote good health, nutrition, and safety practices for children • Maintain respectful and responsive relationships with children and their families • Collaborate with other primary caregivers to ensure continuity of care • Required: 6 units of Infant Toddler coursework, California Child Development Program Teacher Permit, First Aid/CPR certifications • Preferred: More than 6 units in Infant Toddler coursework • Compensation range: $25.68 - $30.46 per hour • Must comply with background check, legal work requirements, vaccination, and other employment conditions • Serve within the Division of Student Affairs focused on student development and community engagement
